One Response to Native American Silver – ca. 1790 Iroquois Native American Trade Silver Nose Ring, Rare, Made From A Large Silver Coin

Hi, (I realise that this is a rather old post so may not still be active, but…) I’m interested in the provenance of this nose ring as I have an almost identical item. I always assumed (I was told) that it was either African or East asian. It is so similar to the one in these photographs that I’d assume it was made by the same person!
